Position SummaryWe are seeking PRN Medical Assistants (MAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our medical team in delivering top-tier patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. These roles will involve direct patient interaction, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with our clinical staff to ensure smooth operations and quality care.Work You Will Do:Medical Assistant:Prepare patients for exams and treatments.Record vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns.Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments.Administer medications and injections as directed.Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens.Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in the EHR.Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and handle follow-ups.Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.Provide support for front office operations as needed.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Prepare patients for exams and proceduresCollect and record vital signs, medical histories, and current symptomsAdminister medications and injections as orderedAssist with minor procedures and ensure proper documentationCommunicate provider instructions to patients and support patient educationMaintain and update patient records in the EHR accuratelyMonitor inventory of clinical supplies and maintain stocked exam roomsFollow all infection control, safety, and OSHA/EOC guidelinesParticipate in quality improvement initiativesRegistered Nurse (RN)Perform clinical triage and assess patient symptoms based on protocolsProvide patient education, care instructions, and medication teachingAdminister vaccines, injections, and assist with proceduresDocument care accurately and completely in the EHRCommunicate with patients through phone and patient portalManage chronic disease follow-up and care plan coordinationCollaborate with care teams on clinical initiatives and quality metricsEnsure compliance with infection control and safety proceduresQualifications For Medical Assistants (MAs)High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant programCurrent BLS/CPR certification1 year of experience, preferable in PediatricsFor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)Current LPN license in the state of TennesseeBLS/CPR certificationGraduate of an accredited LPN program1 year of experience, preferable in PediatricsFor Registered Nurses (RNs)Current RN license in the state of TennesseeBLS/CPR certification (ACLS may be required per specialty)Graduate of an accredited nursing program1 year of experience, preferable in PediatricsAdditional Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Compassionate patient care and a team-oriented attitude.Working ConditionsSchedule: Day Shift, rotating Saturday, Holidays may be required.Environment: Clinic-based with occasional exposure to medical equipment and procedures.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift at least 25lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Heritage Medical Associates
