Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. The Material Handler is responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all basic requirements in Receiving, including:
• Unloading material off delivery trucks
• Removing packaging
• Verifying parts match packing slips
• Perform all basic requirements in the Stockroom, including:
• Stocking material from Receiving
• Maintaining first-in, first-out (FIFO) part bin management
• Counting and returning material from the manufacturing floor
• Reviewing SAP transactions and documentation to ensure physical and SAP locations match
• Actively and effectively participate in team activities and continuous improvement projects
• Work safely and comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work rules

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use a variety of tools and operate equipment (box cutters, scanners, pallet jacks)
• Ability to attain and maintain forklift driver certification

Physical Demands:

• Required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
• Frequently walk up and down steps
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Close vision required for use of computer monitor
• Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required in primary work areas and on the manufacturing floor

Work Environment:

• Primary workstation is in Receiving and Stockroom areas
• Moderate noise level
• Moderate exposure to dirt and dust
• Seasonal temperatures range from cold to hot

Additional Information:

• Pay $20.25
• 3rd Shift (11pm-7am) M-F
