Wind City Kids has an opportunity for a full or part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Casper, Wyoming. We seek candidates eager to grow professionally in the pediatric and adult neuro realms while developing community and professional alliances. The Clinical Director, with over 16 years of extensive Physical Therapy in-patient and outpatient experience, leads our 1-year onboarding program to provide continuous experiences for learning and development.

The Roles & Responsibilities of the Pediatric Occupational Therapist Include: 

• Performing comprehensive evaluations and delivering individualized occupational therapy treatment for pediatric patients.
• Providing 1:1 patient care on a scheduled basis (40-60 minute sessions).
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient-centered care.
• Educating parents and caregivers on therapeutic home programs.
• Completing all clinical documentation and notes accurately and timely.

The Successful Candidates Will Meet the Following Requirements, Qualifications and Skill Sets:

• Occupational Therapy License (Preferred)able to be licensed in Wyoming required.
• 2+ years working as an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient clinic setting (preferred, not required) .
• 1+ years’ experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Mastery of the occupational therapy evaluation process ??? I see this as scaring off a new grad – they embrace imposter syndrome strongly and may not feel they are ever a master.
• Exceptional problem-solving, clinical reasoning and collaboration skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills.
• Professional and authentic communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in our community volunteer program.
• Willingness to network in the community.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• Ability to pass state and federal background check.

Compensation:

• Full-time salary: 40 hours/week: $ 80,000 - $ 100,000/year depending upon demonstrable skill sets and years of working experience.
• Part-time hourly rate: $ 50.00 - $ 60/hr depending upon demonstrable skill sets and years of working experience.
• Generous monthly incentive program we are modifying this and may not offer it.
