Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)is adding a OB/GYN Generalist  to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds.  To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. 

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  Albert Einstein College of Medicine  to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

The faculty represent all specialties within OB/GYN including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Genetics, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Urogynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology. 

Opportunity Details:

• See patients in the ambulatory setting
• Schedule cases for the OR
• Labor and Delivery coverage
• GYN inpatient services on day and night shifts
• Typical work week is divided into 8 hour shifts for outpatient coverage and GYN surgery and 12 hour shifts for L&D and GYN inpatient coverage
• 90% Clinical effort and 10% Admin time for chart review, teaching, education
• One 24 hour weekend call per month

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Gynecologic ultrasound experience is highly regarded but not required.”

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $296,000* (board eligible); $301,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $435,800** (board eligible) and $441,300** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.

• Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
• Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.

• Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
