The incumbent serves as a Program Manager located within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Operations Support (OS), CBP Watch. This position serves as a specialist and provides technical support to Emergency Management professionals on continuity programs requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess complex management and program processes and systems. ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of policies and procedures that outline requirements for the management and implementation of National TTE programs and initiatives.Assisting in the planning and delivery of training and exercises to ensure that continuity of operations objectives are met.Assisting in the development and delivery of continuity of operations training and workshops.Designing and implementing a Component-wide Correct Action Program.Assisting in the development of a five-year TTE Plan.Developing and implementing test, training, and exercise (TTE) activities to assess and validate Emergency Management plans, policies, procedures, and systems.Travel RequiredOccasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position. QualificationsQualifications required:Experience with designing and implementing Tests, Training, and Exercises using the HSEEP process is preferred. Knowledge and mastery of analytical tools, information systems, and methodologies with expert ability to provide authoritative advice to management throughout the department on incident and situation management notification. Ability to plan, organize, and direct team and system stakeholder efforts across organizational lines, including the ability to monitor progress on requirements development to ensure that realistic objectives and milestones are established, to clearly assign responsibilities, and to get mission requirements accomplished in a timely manner.
