Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and facility structures. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, test, and maintain machinery and equipment
2. Perform preventive maintenance and address potential issues
3. Repair machines; install new or rebuilt parts
4. Clean and lubricate mechanical components
5. Repair/replace gauges, valves, regulators, and related equipment
6. Maintain facility structures and equipment
7. Operate machine tools (mill, lathe, grinder, drill)
8. Perform cutting/welding tasks
9. Fabricate or repair work surfaces and structures
10. Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and suppliers
11. Follow safety policies and report hazards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use DVM for voltage, current, and resistance
• Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical schematics & blueprints
• Basic PLC and machine control knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to maintain forklift, crane, aerial lift, and LOTO permits
• General knowledge of metal stamping and welding machinery

Openings are on 1st shift 7:00am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift 3:00pm to midnight with overtime as needed. Starting salary 32K ELPSO70
