We also produce longer feature pieces for our broadcast and digital clients.**About the Role**As our **Video Producer (Level 1 Journalist - Temp)**, you will:* Produce, edit, write and deliver agency video stories from both office and field* Respond quickly to major breaking news events, in a responsible manner* Have the ability to work long hours, some weekend shifts, often under extreme pressure and unsupervised at times* Have a sharp eye for visual news elements and video storytelling* Have a thorough understanding of video technology and social media* Have excellent communication skills**About You**You're a fit for the **Video Producer (Level 1 Jounralist, Temp)**, if you likely have:* Minimum five years of experience as a professional video producer, with a strong track record covering hard news* Experience with live broadcast and technical knowledge* Experience in broadcast or agency television newsgathering and production* Significant experience working with multimedia and video packaging teams* Willingness to travel to breaking news stories, often at short notice* Strong skills in driving accuracy and speed while upholding Thomson Reuters editorial principles and policies* Understanding needs of broadcast and digital clients, regionally and internationally* Excellent English writing skills* Additional language skills considered an advantage**Please note that the deadline for applications is Wednesday 3rd June.**#LI-FP3At Reuters, our people are our greatest assets.
