RN PreOp PACU

North Denver Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre‑Op/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse. Responsibilities The Pre‑Operative Nurse (Pre‑op RN) organizes and directs activities in accordance with nursing standards, Joint Commission, Medicare, and all applicable federal, state and local guidelines. Admits, evaluates, assesses, and teaches patients to fully prepare them for their procedure or surgery. Performs CLIA‑waived laboratory testing required prior to surgery as ordered. Communicates patient assessment information to the attending physician. Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in the PACU department. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the Center’s policies. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members and providers. May have additional responsibilities such as serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and other projects. Position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Current unrestricted RN license in the state. 1+ year of experience working as a registered nurse. ASC or Operating Room experience preferred. Current American Heart BLS certification.
