What You Will DoThe Senior Director, Global Fire Detection Product Management will lead the end-to-end product strategy, planning, and execution for the global fire detection portfolio. This role is accountable for driving profitable growth, portfolio competitiveness, and lifecycle value, while ensuring strong alignment between product development, regional execution, and commercial success.The role operates at the intersection of strategy, execution, and commercialization, translating customer needs and market dynamics into differentiated offerings and measurable business outcomes across global markets.How you will do it:Product Planning & StrategyDefine and lead the global product strategy and long-range roadmap for fire detection solutionsTranslate market trends, regulatory shifts, and customer needs into clear product investment prioritiesDevelop and support business cases for new products, platforms, and strategic investmentsIdentify growth opportunities across segments, geographies, and verticalsDrive alignment between global strategy and regional execution requirementsCore Product ManagementOwn end-to-end product management execution, from concept through launch and adoptionDefine and prioritize product requirements based on structured voice-of-customer, regulatory, and competitive insightsEnsure strong linkage between customer needs, product design, and delivered valueLead product roadmap governance and prioritization in partnership with EngineeringDrive new product introduction (NPI) execution, including launch readiness, adoption tracking, and post-launch optimizationEstablish feedback loops across regions to refine roadmap and feature prioritizationBase Portfolio Management (Installed Base & Lifecycle)Manage the full lifecycle of the installed base and existing product portfolioDrive portfolio sustainability, optimization, and rationalization, including end-of-life planning and transitionsLead sustaining engineering prioritization and backlog management, ensuring alignment with field needs and quality requirementsMonitor and improve product performance, reliability, and lifecycle costServe as escalation point for product-related quality, field, and supply issues, ensuring timely resolutionLeverage installed base insights to drive continuous improvement and future product design enhancementsCommercial Support & Value CapturePartner with Commercial, Pricing, and Marketing to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and value captureSupport development of value-based pricing strategies and guardrailsDefine and refine product positioning, differentiation, and competitive strategyEnsure availability of sales enablement tools (playbooks, value propositions, competitive materials)Drive adoption of new offerings through strong field enablement and trainingSupport expansion of lifecycle revenue streams (services, upgrades, digital offerings)Performance Management & GovernanceDefine and track key portfolio performance metrics, including:Revenue growth and market shareGross margin and cost performanceNPI success (on-time, on-budget delivery)Product adoption and lifecycle performanceQuality and reliability metricsUse data-driven insights to drive accountability and continuous improvementProvide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadershipCross-Functional LeadershipPartner closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Regional TeamsEnsure strong alignment between global product direction and regional market needsLead decision-making across a matrixed global organizationInfluence stakeholders at all levels to drive execution and resultsTeam Leadership & Capability BuildingBuild and lead a high-performing global product management organizationDevelop capabilities across Product planning, Lifecycle management and Commercial acumenFoster a culture of accountability, customer focus and execution excellenceWhat we look for:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field;
