RN - Oncology

Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant (12hr Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM and may vary.

The role involves providing care in an inpatient isolation unit, offering intermediate-level care for patients undergoing various treatments, including cell therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood product transfusions. You will be managing transplants occurring on the unit with a low nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Deliver intermediate level of care in an inpatient isolation unit.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products.
• Monitor patient progress and provide timely interventions as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Bone Marrow Transplant specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, Chemo, NIHSS.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system is essential.
