At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Material Handler based in Minster!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Passing forklift certification and driving a stand-up forklift in either raw material warehouse or distribution cooler
• Working safely with a high attention to detail and quality
• Computer work including picking product using a warehouse management system and RF scanner
• Unload and load trucks
• Working as a team to achieve challenging production goals
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Working in a standing position, most of a 12-hr shift
• Wearing a free uniform that includes safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnet and beard net

The Material Handler base rate is now 24.62/hr! and night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium. The ideal candidate will have:

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Open schedule ability. This means you are able to weekends and holidays when scheduled. Our employees work a 3-2-2 schedule.
• Computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• High mechanical aptitude
• The ability to perform physical demands of:
• A fast-paced environment
• 12-hour shifts
• Continuous walking or standing
• Repetitive minimal to moderate lifting (50 lbs)
• Working in a cold environment (in distribution cooler)
• Working at heights (in warehouse)
• Openness to learn and share with others
• Doer who takes ownership of our product excellence and their working area
• Empowered individual who proactively pursues improvements in Quality, Safety & Operations
• Previous forklift and warehousing experience are highly desirable
