Inventory Coordinator

Location : Newman, California, USA We are a Dedicated Grower Supply Company For Seedlings We specialize in tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, melon, cabbage, and industrial hemp seedlings. Our facility in Newman, California is certified organic and features over 1.8 million square feet of greenhouses. Our highly trained sales staff is always available to help with any problems that might arise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The purpose of the Inventory Coordinator role is to support the sales and operation teams to accomplish smooth ordering, growing, and shipping of plants from seed to field delivery. This role is also responsible for organic stewardship, record keeping, and billing reconciliation for all deliverables. Supporting management with key analysis throughout each year will also be integral to this role. Entering all orders, ensuring varieties and plants ordered correspond with sales contract. Set up daily seeding orders and coordinate the resources needed with Operation Manager and Assistant Manager. Continuous updates of germination, thinning, tray fill, and inventory. Communicate with sales team about seed needs, allocations, order conversions, and inventory. Ensure proper organic procedures are followed and documented. Ensure proper mapping and reconciliation of BOL’s for invoicing purposes. Effectively communicate daily with key stakeholders and supervisors regarding the status of projects and work activities. Post tomato season responsibilities include counting germination results and various other projects that assist the Controller. Maintain seed inventory and lot traceability records. Lead processor tours when needed. This role shares back up responsibility for the Shipping Coordinator role. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
