In Manufacturing & Supply, you’ll help reimagine how life-changing treatments reach people everywhere, faster.The Maintenance Execution position supports site shop floor manufacturing equipment (Bioreactors, mixers, chromatography skids, autoclaves, etc.) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Our deep understanding of the immune system – and innovative pipeline – enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world.Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.Main Responsibilities:Support Operations: Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, maintenance teams, and site projects.Work Order Management: Complete all work orders and time entries accurately in the CMMS system.Training & Development: Work with the Asset Care Manager to train and mentor maintenance technicians and manufacturing operators in maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Perform daily checks and scheduled PM activities on site-wide equipment.Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of system failures and perform necessary repairs. As such, the technician will provide SME support to deviation investigations as needed.Coordination & Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities.Compliance & Safety: Complete all assigned training (SOPs, SWIs) and follow site safety and compliance requirements.Collaboration: Assist other technicians and teams to support site-wide maintenance and projects.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to maintenance practices and equipment reliability.Other Duties: Execute additional tasks as assigned to support operations.Technical Scope:Preventive maintenance and repair of industrial/process equipment.Instrumentation and electronics, including PLCs.Electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase 480V).Manufacturing equipment: Bioreactors, Centrifuges, Autoclaves.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation.Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Decision-Making Matrix (DAI):The Maintenance Execution position plays an active role in decision-making processes across maintenance and operations activities. Responsibilities are defined as follows:Preventive and Corrective Maintenance ExecutionD (Decider)Executes and decides on necessary actions to maintain equipment performance and reliability.Equipment Issue Reporting and RecommendationsA (Accountable)Presents data, identifies problems, and proposes solutions to supervisors or engineering teams.Site Maintenance Strategy and Long-Term PlanningDelivers training and ensures operators are properly qualified to perform routine tasks.Coordination of Major Repairs and ShutdownsI (Informed)Receives updates on site strategy but does not participate in high-level decision-making.Operator Training on Basic Maintenance TasksRemains informed on all safety policies and compliance updates and applies them in daily activities.A/I (Accountable/Informed)Provides technical support and coordination, informed of scheduling and resource planning decisions.Safety and Compliance CommunicationWork Expectations:Overtime as required.Availability to work weekends and holidays.Always promote and uphold safety culture and compliance.About YouRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, or food industries.Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and documentation skills.Why Choose Us?
