\tApplies advanced Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering and service operations. Independently develops models, data bases and spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics, operations research, engineering economics), and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers (e.g., management, departments, suppliers). Applies advanced industrial engineering techniques and concepts to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle, resulting in a robust product design and work statement that meets program requirements. Researches, designs, develops, improves, and implements processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, through the application of advanced Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization. Independently manages, defines, negotiates, and controls the scope, cost, and timing of projects, and performs risk analysis using project management tools (e.g., work break-down structure, precedence network, resource allocation). Ensures project is completed within budget. Utilizes advanced engineering methods (e.g., mathematical models, simulation, statistics) to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment) in the creation and validation of products. Analyzes and designs value stream, including capability, capacity (e.g., make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, supplier performance), throughput, work flow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time, transportation, factory layout).

Position Descriptions:

\tApplies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements of moderate complexity.
\tDesigns, develops, analyzes, tests, evaluates and implements processes and technology insertions by applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system design, operational efficiency and after-market services.
\tMonitors performance, supports production and systems to meet operational and functional requirements.
\tTranslates engineering, systems, and mathematical concepts to practical applications throughout the product life cycle.
\tResearches emerging technologies and develops industrial engineering tools and processes.
\tEnsures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.
\tSupports the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations.
\tDevelops moderately complex models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders.
\tAssists with research, design, development, improvement, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.
\tLeads metrics, data analysis, and improvement plans, related to our team's productivity, efficiency and first-time quality; including Lean+ events, 5S improvement plans, and/or special initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

\tBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
\t2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
\t2+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment?
\tPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
\tSkilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
\t2 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
\t2 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
\tExperience developing and deploying standard processes.
\tProficient in structured problem solving.
\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite products

Education / Experience:

\tEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

\t1st: 5am-1:30pm
\t2nd: 1:30pm-10:00pm
