Production Die Maintenance Area Manager

The Production Die Maintenance Area Manager is responsible for the salary pressroom die manager group activities, including safety, project planning, continuous improvement and root cause analysis, large project management activities, etc. This position leads plant initiatives, Kaizen events and other Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) processes, while working closely with die project planning, and pressroom maintenance teams to determine root cause, and resolve issues related to throughput and quality. The Production Die Maintenance Area Manager will lead the die engineering team activities, utilizing Stellantis Industrial System tools and will problem solve, identify and rectify major production stamping equipment issues, quickly and efficiently. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5 years' experience in a die maintenance experience in a high-volume environment, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience Ability to work any shift and overtime as required Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree #J-18808-Ljbffr
