Inside Sales Associate

Custom Hoists is currently hiring an Inside Sales Associate to work as part of a team responsible for generating revenue by proactively reaching out to potential clients, building relationships, and closing sales over the phone or through online channels. The role requires a strong combination of interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's products and services to potential customers. This position reports to the Customer Success Manager. This position works on-site full-time at our Hayesville, Ohio location. Prioritize safety practices and precautions for yourself and others, adhering to company and industry regulations and protocols Reinforce company objectives, initiatives, and values through daily decision-making, shareholder interactions, and continuous improvement activities Align decisions, actions, behaviors, and priorities with company objectives, initiatives, and values Utilize company performance management and learning resources to take ownership of performance, development, and competencies Answer and accurately action inbound customer calls, partnering with internal and external stakeholders Primary point of contact for customers Enter, amend, and maintain accurate purchase orders Prepare and send quotes to customers and potential customers Enter & maintain customer records Generate daily outbound shipments Track shipment status of customer orders Create export shipment documentation Provide field sales support Assist with monthly sales projections Issue credit memos, send order acknowledgements Communicate pertinent operational and customer information to stakeholders, to promote timely and consistent knowledge and execution across the operation What You'll Bring Associate's degree or 3+ years' relatable experience 1-3 years of inside sales and/or customer service experience in a non-retail environment Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and build effective relationships with personnel across all levels of the industry and organization, internally and externally Proven method to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously What We Value Proven experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or a related field, ideally with a custom manufactured product Proficiency using Microsoft 365 and field related systems Active listening and negotiation abilities Self-motivated and results-driven attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing priorities Strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings Effective written, oral and presentation skills & application of situational and audience awareness Proven ability to convey information clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization, verbally, nonverbally, and in writing Custom Hoists, Inc. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes: Medical Insurance (PPO and HSA plans) Dental Insurance Health Savings Account 401(k) with company contribution 11 paid holidays per year Paid Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Program Equal Opportunity Employer.
