Role Overview: This position involves providing high-level, direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to AACN’s Synergy Model. Responsibilities Include Delivering top-of-scope nursing care using the nursing process Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare professionals Supporting safety and quality at the point of care Participating in specialty education and competency validation with clinical educators Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited or state-approved nursing program Valid RN licensure Minimum six months ICU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross Key Attributes Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, commitment to evidence-based practice, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
