Mobile Application Developer

Base pay range $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr About the Role We’re seeking experienced Mobile Developers with strong native development skills in both iOS and Android platforms to join our team. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, requiring onsite presence at least 3 days per week. You will be part of a high-impact engineering team, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to build, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade mobile applications for top-tier clients. Employment type: Must be authorized and willing to work on W2 (no C2C or 1099) Visa Sponsorship Not Provided for this position. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications using Swift and Kotlin Collaborate with UI/UX designers to define app features and interfaces Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and quality across mobile platforms Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and application bugs Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs as needed Publish apps to the App Store and Google Play Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code using Git or Bitbucket Support and implement application updates, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines Deliver engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, integration, and testing, based on a proven Agile methodology Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages Collaborate effectively with diverse client engagement teams, fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment Stay current on technology trends and provide strategic recommendations to support client needs Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 6+ years of professional experience in native mobile app development for iOS and Android Strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) Experience integrating vendor SDKs and working with back-end services Familiarity with Apple’s HIG and Android UI/UX best practices Proficient with Git , Bitbucket , and CI/CD tools Strong understanding of DevOps , unit/integration testing frameworks, TDD , or BDD Bonus: Experience with Full Stack Development or Java as a primary backend skill Ability to work in a client-facing role with strong communication and collaboration skills Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
