Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatry

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Psychiatry to join our inpatient nursing team. This role involves working with various patient demographics, including child, adult, and geriatric patients in a psych unit.

Position Information

• Department: Inpatient Nursing Unit 1
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other/As Needed

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 72
• Patient Ratios: 1:10
• Equipment Used: Vitals machine, EKG, Bladder scanner, metal detector, AED
• EHR: Cerner

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, HWC, MANDT, TOVA - certified de-escalation/physical hold training
• Years of Experience: 2+ years in psychiatric or behavioral health environments.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing is required.
• Ability to manage a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses and treatments, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, etc.
