Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Float Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, applying general Med-Surg nursing skills across a float assignment
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using Soarian EMR
• Adhere to facility dress code; royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility
• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; candidates with a license pending must provide proof that the process is underway to be considered
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Minimal requested time off; RTO must be disclosed at time of submission, particularly around holidays
• Candidates residing within 31–50 miles of the facility may be considered at a local rate; candidates residing less than 30 miles from the facility are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Soarian EMR
• Charge nurse experience
