Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 3 CT scanners, soon to be 4
• Number of Staff: 13, 8 FT, 1 PT, 3 PRN, 1 Transporter
• Type of staff: Day Shift 1 charge, 4 day techs, 2 mid-shift, 1 transporter M-F Night Shift 2 techs
• Type of equipment: GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, GE 64 slice scanner in OP, and 128 GE Frontier to go live 10/6/20
• EMR: Meditech

Typical hiring profile:

• Skill Set: Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience
• BLSARRT (R)
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Trauma and Stroke
• IV Skills

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence Level 1 Trauma 512 scanner and 2 128 slice scanners, with new scanner installed 10/5/20 Close to Denver University and not far from downtown Denver Close to Mountains for 4 season outdoor recreation
