Mosaic Life Care

Job Description The Psychologist works under the supervision of the Director, Community Based Mental Health Services. Provides psychological testing, interpretation and reports for referrals. Provides clinical assessment referrals and/or counseling for mental health problems. Responsibilities Performs psychological assessments, assists in evaluations of clients seeking mental health services. Provide assessment, diagnosis, and counseling and follow up to clients. Maintain documentation of clinical work and other statistically relevant data; meeting quality assurance standards. Provide consultation and assistance to supervisory personnel concerning caregivers presenting with disciplinary and/or work performance concerns. Promote services by networking, phone calls, to promote counseling services, and in particular, psychological services. Available for clients in emergency situations. Attend required staff meetings and other necessary meetings relevant to working for the Mosaic Life Care. Complete clinical notes in a timely manner and, paperwork necessary for timely insurance filing. Maintain broad expertise in clinical areas and keep certifications and licensures current. Other duties as assigned Education Master's Degree - Psychology - Required Work Experience 3 Years - Clinical experience - Required Licenses and Certifications Licensed Psychologist - Required Upon Hire Travel Requirements Travel to off-site locations may be required. - Required Qualifications Skills and Abilities Essential Technical/Motor Skills Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and leadership, the public, and agency representatives. Must be able to operate a personal computer and standard office equipment. Interpersonal Skills Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills and present a positive image for the organization. Must be motivated, able to work independently, be a strong facilitator and have excellent follow through skills. Must be able to interact with people in a professional, diplomatic, and sensitive manner and ensure that appropriate confidentiality is maintained. Essential Physical Requirements Moving, walking, balancing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and restraining. Must travel throughout the Mosaic Life Care complex to meet with users in their environment. Essential Mental Abilities Must be able to interpret data and prepare budgets. Organizational skills to schedule meetings and meet deadlines. Evaluate performance of staff. Able to manage multiple priorities. Interpret policies and procedures. Must be able to identify and measure departmental quality goals. Essential Sensory Requirements Must be able to communicate via telephone and in person. Must be able to review reports and organization goals for quality and accuracy. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and customers. Exposure to Hazards Limited exposure.
