Parts Specialist

Answer parts telephone calls and wait on walk in customers promptly and courteouslyAssist customers by researching parts from the manufactures parts manualPrepare parts quotesEnter orders in the computerCoordinate setting up new customers in the computerEnsure customer service by suggested sales to meet the total customer needsAssist mechanics with parts diagrams and identifying parts accuratelyPost parts to work orders from the parts warehouse and service techsSupport the mechanics by processing orders in a timely mannerPhysically pull parts for customers and assist in putting away stockUnderstand the computer parts system and how parts are affected by various transactionsEnsure orders are processed with current pricing, cost and freightUtilize company inventory to reduce surplus and identify incorrectly ordered parts to be returnedEnsure customer part requirements are on order if not in stockOther duties as assigned.Must have a basic knowledge of all equipment sold by Heavy MachinesMust be able to use all reference manualsExcellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle stress associated with dealing with deadlinesExcellent customer service skills to include conflict resolution is requiredStrong computer skillsMust be a Team PlayerAble to assist with special projects as directed by Customer Service ManagerHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 2 years experience working in a parts and/or service backgroundPreference given to candidates with a heavy truck parts and service backgroundForklift experienceValid Drivers License is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Heavy Machines LLC
