Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging services to patients, assisting physicians in diagnosing and evaluating medical conditions. Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain accurate imaging records.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and adherence to physician orders.
Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and maintaining comfort.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness.
Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and communicate imaging results.
Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer program.
ARDMS certification or equivalent credential required.
Minimum of 1 year of healthcare imaging experience.
Proven ability to operate ultrasound equipment and other diagnostic tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
