Trinity Health - - Responsibilities: Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department; Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting; Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner; Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity; Collects copays and payments at the time of service; verifies insurance; assists with pre-authorizations and referrals
