Shifts: 12hr nights

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role involves caring for patients with diverse medical, neuro, and surgical conditions in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will join a dynamic unit where the nurse to patient ratio is 3:1, supported by a dedicated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

Provide nursing care for patients with complex conditions including COPD, CHF, and post-op surgeries
Manage and titrate drips such as Cardene, Heparin, and Vasopressors
Collaborate with team members, including charge nurses and PCTs, to optimize patient care
Monitor patients using bedside monitors and confirm strip readings
Adhere to scheduled shifts and rotate weekends and holidays as required

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
BLS certification required; ACLS certification recommended
ICU or Intermediate (Stepdown) nursing experience with a nurse to patient ratio of 3:1 or 2:1
Experience with trach/vented patients
Experience in titrating specific drips
