RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse)

Title: RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse)

Location: Durham, NC

Salary Range: $55/hr

We are seeking an experienced and lively Unit Manager with LONG-TERM CARE EXPERIENCE to join our team!

**Must have 1-YEAR of UNIT MANAGER experience**

You will be responsible for:

Evaluating nurse and medical staff performance
Maintaining and restoring the health of their patients
Managing daily treatment schedules
Enforcing health and safety regulations
Solving staffing issues and shortages
Evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on patient condition
Ensuring their unit meets federal, state, and company guidelines
Completing admission and discharge forms
Delivering hands-on care and medication administration as needed
Communicating procedural issues with the director and working to correct them
Acting as a liaison between patients' families and healthcare staff

Qualifications:

1-YEAR+ AS A UNIT MANAGER
3-YEARS+ LONG-TERM CARE
PCC EXPERIENCE
Ability to build rapport with RESIDENTS, FACILITY STAFF, AND FAMILIES
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
