The QNBMHCF Outpatient provides 24 Hour Emergency Services, Laboratory, Radiology, (CAT Scan & Mobile MRI) and 24-hour Pharmacy Services. Ambulatory Services consist of Optometry, Dental, Clinical, Emergency, Podiatry, and Same-Day Clinic. This facility also offers Behavioral Health.Facility Address – 1300 Hospital Lp, Belcourt, ND 58316ResponsibilitiesMeeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene.Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.Correcting bite issues and overcrowding.Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them.Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients.Requirements/QualificationsMust have Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.Must be a graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).Specialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA or the ADA or an accepted equivalent program.Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required.Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service Specific Credentialing instruction.Shall have a minimum of one (1) full year experience being employed on a full-time basis in the practice of dentistry or be a recent 1-year graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program.
