Associate Photographer

The Role Associate Photographers capture media for Homes.com and Apartments.com using a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera equipment, and an iPad. They create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. Each photographer is assigned a core territory and works closely with clients, scheduling teams, and management. Photography is managed remotely by a local Photography Manager. Responsibilities Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints. Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments using professional photography techniques. Collaborate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands. Communicate professionally with clients, sales associates, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and initiatives. Conduct market coverage on one‑mile square grids when not working on a residential assignment, identifying new inventory, missing availability, and properties to photograph. Adhere to CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment protection. Represent CoStar professionally at all times. Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. Physical Requirements Repetitive sitting in a car, standing, and walking for up to 8 hours per day. Lifting, carrying, and maneuvering equipment weighing up to 5 pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying necessary to perform job functions. Ability to work and drive outdoors in all seasons. Willingness to work weekends on a rotating schedule. Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience. Real estate photography experience required. Professional photographer or recently earned degree in photography. High School Diploma or GED. Strong customer‑service experience with a client‑first mindset. FAA Part 107 drone‑photographer license or certification, obtained within 30 days of offer. Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail. Capability to accurately capture and enter data. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Apple iOS products. Enjoy working independently in a fast‑paced environment. Field experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record prior to start. Compensation Hourly rate equivalent to $49,000–$50,000 annually with bonus‑eligible structure. Bonuses are paid monthly and are based on performance metrics.
