Randstad is seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Material Handler for one of our premier clients in Bohemia, NY. salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 3:30 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Efficiently move raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility to support production schedules.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely unload incoming shipments and load outbound freight using manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
• Inventory Accuracy: Utilize RF scanners to perform cycle counts and ensure all material movements are accurately tracked in the warehouse management system.
• Production Support: Deliver necessary components to production lines in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
• Staging & Organization: Properly label, sort, and stage materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain a highly organized workspace.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all facility safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
