Job Position: Materials Handler / Materials Associate
Location: Holly, MI 48442
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Shift: 1st, full-time, contract-to-hire Entech Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler for a leading automotive electronics manufacturer in Holly, MI. These are full-time, contract/temporary positions with strong potential for direct hire based on performance, attendance, and attitude. - Move materials throughout the facility using manual or powered equipment
- Load and unload shipments, verifying accuracy against documentation
- Stock production lines with required materials and components
- Maintain proper inventory levels and assist with cycle counts
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
- Ensure materials are stored safely and organized properly
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Support production and warehouse teams as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or materials experience
- Forklift experience is a plus (certification may be required)
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk frequently throughout the shift, including long distances within the facility
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
- Must complete and pass a pre-employment assessment/test
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
