Tool Room Attendant

Tool Room AttendantZiegler CAT has an opening for a full-time Tool Room Attendant to support our shops and tool room. This person is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly tool room and receiving areas within the facility. In addition, this person performs duties, such as furnishing and maintaining stock levels and quality of tools, materials, and supplies, for the facility and field personnel. They also assist customers with loading and unloading their parts and equipment. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth.Responsibilities:Transfers tools, components, parts, equipment and supplies to and from work stations and other areasAssists with shop and facility clean up and maintenanceShips and receives components on nightly shuttle trucksProvides assistance to other departments as requestedPromptly greets and assists customers in the yard and loading baySafely loads and unloads customer trucks and pick-upsMaintains a clean and orderly loading bay area at all timesCleans and maintains component washersCleans equipment using proper equipmentCleans and maintains grounds, parking lots, and other areas, as assignedCleans and maintains large steam room and/or wash bayWorks in a cooperative manner with team and superiorsQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required2+ years experience required in shop or yard, operating equipment and forkliftsDependable, self-starter, and hard-workingGood communication and customer service skillsTeam-player and willing to help wherever neededMaintains safe and organized work areaAble to operate required equipment safely (examples include forklift, sprayers, equipment)This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirementMinimum Physical Requirements:Push/pull up to 50 lbsLift/carry up to 60 lbsLift bulky objectsStanding, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping - able to use bolt boxWorking Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $34.00 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location.
