Medical-Surgical RN in Summerville, GA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Recent experience in Med Surg and Telemetry settings
• Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based nursing practices for adult and geriatric patients
• Proficient with telemetry monitoring and assessment
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Effective communicator with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on medical surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff to coordinate and implement individualized care plans
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record
• Adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles, sharing critical patient information
