• Experience: Board-certified Ob/Gyn with trauma experience (Trauma I or II preferred)

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-risk obstetrical care, including assisting with C-sections and other procedures
• Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists, both in-house and on call
• Cover urgent obstetrical needs and emergencies on the unit
• Collaborate with other OB providers in a team-based environment
• Manage unassigned OB patients and assist with deliveries in a level II nursery setting
• Document patient care accurately using Epic (Excellian) and Obix systems
• Assist with high-risk pregnancies and coordinate care with MFM specialists

What You Need

• Board-certified Ob/Gyn license in Minnesota or IMLC license
• Trauma I or II experience, highly preferred
• BLS certification
• Clean medical license and file to qualify for emergency temp assignment
• At least 2+ years of obstetrical experience, with high-risk patient care preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

About the Assignment
This position involves coverage for high-risk obstetrics in a busy Level II nursery environment. The OB Hospitalist will primarily support MFM services and provide urgent obstetric care on a 24/7 basis. The facility offers full support from Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and access to advanced electronic health record systems to ensure comprehensive patient management.
