Full-Time OR Circulator Registered Nurse in Grants, New Mexico
Responsible for managing nursing care during surgery, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. Join a supportive surgical team to advance your perioperative nursing career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
- Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques.
- Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records.
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - New Mexico or Compact State License
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- 1+ year of recent OR Circulating experience required
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Certification preferred
