Senior Quality Engineer

Job descriptionLocation: India, TamilnaduBrand: Milton Roy 22nd July 2026Senior Quality EngineerResponsibilities:1. Possess strong inspection expertise in fabrication, structural, machined, drives components.2. Review customer specifications, project requirements, codes, and standards.3. Responsible for Quality Documents deliverables including ITP/QAP/MQP, Test procedures, Inspection Checklists, WPS, weld plan, etc.4. Perform daily inspections based on requests from in-house teams, suppliers and other departments.5. Good geometric dimensional & tolerances.6. Review supplier quality documents and test certificates adherence to the project requirements.7. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, behavioral and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.Qualification:BE Mechanical with 5+ years of experienceISO 9001:2015/QMS, welding knowledge will be added advantageKey Competencies:Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.Expertise in QAP/ITP preparation and approval.Ability to read fabrication, GA, and assembly drawings.Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT).Experience in customer and TPI coordination.Knowledge of FAT, dimensional inspection, and dossier compilation.Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and quality documentation.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ingersoll Rand Inc.
