(21 hours) every other weekSalary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourLocation: BrocktonDuties: Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, duties include:Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees. Verify the accuracy of timesheets, expense information, deductions, and other payroll related information.Stay up to date on all federal and state wage and labor laws for compliance purposesRespond to questions and resolve problems concerning time sheets and other payroll mattersRun and distribute payroll reports to appropriate personnel in a timely mannerPrepare salary/payroll information for annual audits, surveys, tax returns and other compliance reporting.Process the 403b bi-weekly upload including approval form and upload file to the Empower websiteMaintain LOA tracking and Voluntary Leave Donation Pool SpreadsheetPrepare and make monthly payroll journal entries for payroll transactions and travel expensesProcess Leave Without Pay accrual adjustmentsReconcile Quarterly 941 tax reports and monthly benefit insurance vendor invoicesProvide support to finance department and HR department as neededAd Hoc reportingRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Associate's degreeThree years minimum in payroll practices and proceduresExperience with automated payroll serviceWorking knowledge of Excel, WordAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of informationAbility to accurately perform arithmetical calculations; detail orientedAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeExperience working in PaylocityCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or willingness to obtainExperience in accounting functionsTo Apply: Please visit Please indicate on your cover letter the position you are applying for.
