Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement robust business solutions. In this role, you will leverage the low-code/no-code capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform to create custom applications, automate complex workflows, and visualize data through interactive dashboards. You will work closely with stakeholders to enhance business processes, integrate disparate data sources, and ensure all solutions meet security and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Create custom Canvas and Model-Driven Apps to address specific business needs.
- Workflow Automation: Streamline processes using Power Automate, connecting various services to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
- Systems Integration: Integrate data from Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, and SQL databases, including advanced API and REST service configurations.
- Technical Support & Governance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure all solutions adhere to organizational security protocols and data governance policies.
- Collaboration: Partner with business analysts and IT professionals to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives.
- Experience: 5+ years of strong, hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI .
- Data Expertise: 5+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, SQL, and data integration techniques.
- Technical Skills: 5+ years of familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript and JSON ; proficiency in C# or Python is a plus for advanced customizations.
- Platform Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Canvas/Model-Driven Apps, and Office 365 services.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and end-users.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power Platform App Maker or Power Platform Developer).
- Experience with content management systems and version control systems.
- Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position . Candidates must be willing and able to report on-site in Washington, DC, 3 days per week . Please note that on-site requirements are subject to change.
