What you'll do

We're looking for a KYC Agent to be responsible for reviewing and onboarding new merchants in the US. You'll ensure that every onboarding meets regulatory requirements, Flatpay’s internal compliance guidelines, and the requirements of our banking partners.

Don’t have extensive KYC experience yet? No problem. We are primarily looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Main responsibilities

Merchant Onboarding & KYC

• Review and assess KYC files for new merchants.

• Verify company information.

• Review identity documents, bank details, and company documentation.

• Ensure files comply with Flatpay’s internal compliance guidelines and the onboarding requirements of our banking partners.

Compliance & Risk Assessment

• Identify missing, incorrect, or conflicting information.

• Request and review additional documentation where required.

• Ensure KYC files are complete, accurate, and consistently documented.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Operations.

• Investigate discrepancies between CRM systems, internal tools, and official registers.

• Contribute ideas to improve onboarding processes and working procedures.

• Support the continued growth and development of the KYC team in the US.

Who you are

You're detail-oriented and analytical, and you enjoy solving problems. You work in a structured way and enjoy reviewing and assessing cases. Even if you don’t know everything yet, you are curious and quick to learn.

We imagine that you have:

• Strong administrative and analytical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Good communication skills.

• Experience in KYC, Compliance, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), administration, financial services, or FinTech is a plus, but not required.

• Right to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
