Material Handler – 1st ShiftIndianapolis, IN Pro Resources is hiring a Material Handler for a steel processing and distribution facility in Indianapolis. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who is comfortable operating material-handling equipment and working in a safety-focused environment. Pay and Schedule Pay and Schedule$20.00 per hourMonday through Friday8:00 AM to 4:30 PMTemp-to-hire opportunity Job Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility Match order numbers to tags to ensure accurate shipments Receive and inspect incoming materials Pick and stage materials for production and shipping Inspect, label, band, and package finished products Process work orders and bills of lading Record material movements using an RF scanner Complete daily equipment inspections Keep work areas and walkways clean and free of debris Follow all established safety procedures Qualifications At least one year of material handling or warehouse experience At least one year of experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners Ability to read work orders and accurately follow instructions Ability to use a tape measure, micrometer, caliper, and calculator Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for most of the shift Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance Comfortable working near moving equipment and occasionally outdoors If you have warehouse and material-handling experience and are looking for a steady first-shift opportunity with the potential for long-term employment, #J-18808-Ljbffr
