Job Overview

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV) is recruiting an OBGYN Generalist to join the team in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Schedule & Compensation

Shift: Rotation (United States of America)
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
On‑call: 5 days per month, 24‑hour shifts plus a recovery day following call
Clinic: every other business day (≈11 days/month)
Midwives available 12 hours per day
Average of 2,000 deliveries per year, supported by a LevelIII NICU
Competitive straight salary model plus recruitment incentives
Employer contribution: 5% to 401(k)

Relocation options: two options, and $4,500 for CME development.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
• Certification(s) and License(s): Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Pennsylvania
• Experience: Not specified
• Skills: Patient Care and Procedural Skills, Professional Etiquette, Systems‑Based Practice
