Duration: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: $24-$26/hr (W-2)
Overview:
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in dock doors and industrial equipment to support facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair overhead/roll-up doors, gates, and dock equipment (levelers, plates, restraints)
- Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, filter changes)
- Replace mechanical components such as motors, bearings, and shafts
- Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks using CMMS
- Conduct inspections and resolve maintenance issues promptly
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
- Communicate effectively with team and customers regarding work status
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of maintenance experience (industrial, HVAC, mechanical, or automotive)
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to work at heights (scissor/aerial lifts up to 30 ft)
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with CMMS (Maximo a plus)
- Familiarity with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Welding experience/certification
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
- May require valid driver's license and site access clearance
