VDC/BIM Coordinator

Position Summary

The VDC/BIM Technician develops, coordinates, and maintains accurate 2D and 3D building models that support Bouma's conventional and prefabricated commercial construction projects from preconstruction through field execution. This role models cold-formed metal framing and integrated architectural finishes; incorporates design changes and existing-condition scans; participates in BIM coordination and clash detection; and produces shop drawings, bills of materials, fabrication support information, and layouts for jobsite technology. Working both independently and collaboratively with internal teams, customers, trade partners, and external modeling partners, the technician helps ensure model accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project documents throughout the project life cycle.
