Tech Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary: The Cardiovascular Technologist supports physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including pacemaker placements and circulatory support device management. They play a key role in ensuring the accurate operation of diagnostic equipment and patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and organize procedural equipment and sterile trays for each case.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians with patient positioning, monitoring setup, and vascular access.
  
  
• 
  Calibrate, test, and operate diagnostic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
  
  
• 
  Load and operate power injectors, supports, and fluoroscopy systems, adhering to safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Calculate, analyze, and record hemodynamic data, including cardiac output and oximetry readings.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with clinical information systems.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess 1-2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area.
  
  
• 
  Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist, radiologic technologist, or applied science program.
  
  
• 
  Hold ARRT certification with Cath Lab experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in sterile operative techniques, hemodynamic monitoring, and digital cine technology.
  
  
• 
  Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and stand for at least 4 hours daily.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
