BridgeMill Dentistry | Dental Assistant EFDA | Full-Time | Canton, GA

Our long-standing office is located in Canton, GA at 3682 Sixes Road. BridgeMill Dentistry is an established dental practice with a history of serving families in and around Cherokee County, GA. We are tremendously committed to what we do because we recognize how important good oral health is to our patients. Founded in 2002, the practice is one of the larger ones in the area, but remains committed to a very personalized treatment philosophy and friendly environment. Every member of our team knows that the best relationships between healthcare providers and their patients start with trust.

We are a fast paced, large dental office with 3 doctors. The ideal candidate for our office will have 3 years’ experience of dental assisting, EFDA certification, temporary crown making, packing cord and works well with a team, can multitask easily, friendly with patients!

Duties include:

• Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
• Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
• Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
• Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
• Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed.
• Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
• Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment.
• Take digital radiographs.

Compensation:

• Compensation based on experience (26-28/hr)
• Full time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, time off

Full-Time Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, one hour lunch break
• Occasional Friday 7:30am-1:00pm
