Job Overview & Requirements

Our organization is actively seeking two Interventional Radiologists to establish a new hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) program while also developing an outpatient procedural practice in the Kansas City metropolitan area. This role offers a varied procedural experience, strong collaboration with vascular surgery, potential for partnership, and the chance to influence the future of a burgeoning Interventional Radiology service.

Position Highlights

• Become part of a leading physician-led cardiovascular group that specializes in vascular surgery and Interventional Radiology.
• Focus exclusively on Interventional Radiology with no diagnostic duties .
• Work in both a Level II Trauma Center and outpatient procedure centers.
• Develop and expand a new hospital IR program with immediate access to procedural volume.
• Utilize two brand-new IR suites equipped with cutting-edge GE angiography technology.
• Engage in a wide range of procedures, including trauma embolization, vascular interventions, biopsies, drains, central venous access, GI procedures, and women's health interventions.
• Opportunity to create an outpatient clinic and advance minimally invasive procedures such as PAE, PAD interventions, genicular embolization, and other image-guided therapies.
• Collaborate closely with experienced vascular surgeons who provide shared call support and vascular backup.
• Receive dedicated support from Advanced Practice Providers (APP).

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base salary of $800,000 .
• Production incentive model available starting after the first year.

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Interest in both hospital-based and outpatient Interventional Radiology.
