Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing outpatient behavioral health team in Birmingham.

This is a 100% outpatient psychiatry opportunity offering an excellent work-life balance with a MondayFriday schedule, light monthly call rotation, and the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced PMHNPs and multidisciplinary behavioral health professionals. We are also happy to welcome J1 and H1B candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Develop individualized treatment plans for behavioral health patients
• Provide high-quality outpatient psychiatric care
• Treat patients with a variety of psychiatric and substance use disorders
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Supervise and support advanced practice providers
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN).
• MD/DO
• Active or eligible medical license in State that you are applying to
• Experience or strong interest working with midlevel providers
• Strong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to care.
• Previous experience supervising mid-level providers is a plus.
