Direct Support ProfessionalClassification: Part Time, Non-ExemptProgram/Department: Community HabilitationImmediate Supervisor: Community Habilitation ManagerPosition Summary: Responsible for in-home respite for disabled individuals and their families. Provides transportation, supervision, meal preparation, behavior management and participation in activities. Promotes, maintains and/or restores health, and/or minimizes the effects of illness and disabilities. Maintains accurate documentation of services provided including input in the program and/or needs of the people we serve. Responsible for acquiring and maintaining medication administration certification.
