  About the position:

Plant Maintenance Technician performs a variety of routine clerical and technical tasks to support the maintenance of the company’s title plant. This role is responsible for retrieving, importing, verifying, and posting recorded property documents into the plant maintenance system. A key focus of this position is ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Job Duties Include:

• Identifies documents and forms, proofreads own work, and proofreads work of co-workers for accuracy prior to processing. 
• Maintains title plant systems and indices to ensure accurate posting of recorded documents related to various real estate transactions. 
• Math and drafting skills are required.
• Handles electronic file management, electronic transfer between various specialized computer programs, and electronic cataloging of various documents and forms.
• Communicates with company employees and customers by phone, in person, or through correspondence. 
• Supports corporate core values, purpose, goals and culture.
• Adheres to all company policies and standards, including the expectation of prompt, predictable, and regular attendance.
• Reacts to change positively and productively, including as a result of the expansion of job responsibilities and expectations.
• Other job duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license and have the ability to pass an MVR and background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous experience in an office environment preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
