Position Description The LOH RN Nurse is responsible for provision and management of donor care in a clinical area for maximizing organ donor management. The LOH RN delivers care to donors utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Position Requirements Education and Experience Degree from an accredited school of professional nursing. Two (2) years critical care clinical nursing experience required. Preferred Current Alabama RN license. Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. ACLS. Traits & Skills Must be self-directed / self-motivated. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
